Margaret Childs works is the Managing Editor of The Vienna Review. Born and partially raised in New York, she has lived in Vienna for 15 years. She has been a freelance travel writer for publications such as Condé Nast Traveller, Gig Magazine, Austria for Dummies, frommers.com, jetsetter.com and various in-flight magazines. She has reviewed Vienna's restaurants for ZAGAT and also co-authored Frommer’s Complete Guide for Austria 2011 and Frommer’s Vienna and the Danube Valley 2011. For the past 6 years she has been a stringer for The Associated Press Vienna office and has also worked as a TV correspondent for Press TV, in both cases with a focus on energy issues (IAEA, OPEC).
