To the Editor,

At dinner last night, my longtime friend Carl Djerassi told me about The Vienna Review and showed me the interview you did with him in a recent issue.

I have to admit that I was pretty surprised by this, since I’ve lived and worked in Vienna on-and-off for nearly 38 years and yet never knew about your work.

And I can see from the VR web site that this is all to my disadvantage.

As a writer myself with a dozen or more published volumes of popular science under my belt, I was very pleased to know about the VR and about the monthly Salon. I would love to participate.

Great interview with Dr. Carl Djerassi [“Kaffeehaus: The Poet of Progressive Science”, TVR, June 2012] Congratulations! I admire Dr. Djerassi very much; we used to be neighbours in California.
