At the prestigious Leopold Museum, it’s raining men – and they’re all naked.

While usually women are put on a pedestal as the epitome of nude beauty, with a larger-than-life reclining man in the courtyard of MuseumsQuartier, Nackte Männer throws the male body into the spotlight in all its full-frontal glory.

The exhibit displays the transformation in the portrayal of the naked male from 1800 to the present, from painting to photography.

With over 300 pieces, including Vienna’s own Egon Schiele, the show evokes varying au natural aesthetics, with its display of men: beautiful, sexy, erotic – even ugly.

The exhibit lasts just over three months, through 28 Jan., allowing visitors to get their fill of the Full Monty.
