The entire region of Lower Austria swells to the rhythms of the grape harvest, as Europe’s largest wine tourism festival, fans its way through several wine regions including the Wachau, Krems, Carnuntum, Klosterneuburg and the Thermal region. [see “A Walk in the Wachau” in TVR Sept. 2012, and “Uncorking the Inner Critic” in TVR March 2012 for more on Lower Austrian wines.]

Ranging from classical open-air music performances, gourmet events and of course, a plethora of wine tastings to choose from, there is surely something to keep you going until the onset of cooler days.
