About Roxanne Powell

Roxanne Powell is a Franco-British hybrid who's lived in France, the UK, New Zealand and the Netherlands before moving to Vienna in 2006. She studied modern languages, linguistics and literature, before turning to European studies and political science at LSE (London School of Economics & Political Science), where she gained her Ph.D. She's worked for government bodies and other non-profit organisations as a policy researcher and in-house editor. Her interests include creative writing, journalism, music, dance, winter sports and hiking, food, architecture, fashion and the arts. Vienna offers everything she's been looking for and she feels privileged to live in a city with such a rich history and exciting present.
