Yoga in English in Vienna – Keys to the City: Nov. 2012

For many, yoga is the perfect mix between excercise and relaxation | Photo: Lulumelon

As winter sets in and the damp leaves us feeling chilled to the bone, you might try warming up from the inside, releasing stress, and promoting wintertime health with yoga.

Since the 1980s, this traditional form of exercise with soul that originated in ancient India has gained popularity in the West, and is now a growing trend in Austria. Luckily for expatriates and non-native German speakers, there are studios in Vienna that offer courses in English.

From 10-day passes, to unlimited monthly tickets, to yearlong memberships, most options are on offer, many with free trial sessions. In each case, be sure to check that your preferred style and package is offered.
